Our version of a Guided Trip

These Fly Fishing experiences are 8 hours and packed full of on-water learning and fun. All lessons are for beginners and intermediate students. Guided Lessons are an excellent way to enrich and support your fly fishing education, share a day with a friend or get one-on-one attention from an expert.

  • Anadromous

    Target some big lake run fish as they push into the tributaries of Wisconsin. The rodeo begins in September with the King salmon. Coho, Browns and Steelhead follow from there.

    This is a full day program focused on understanding the species, the waters, presentation, tactics and a whole lot more. There will be plenty of opportunities to get cracks at some fish.

    Fee is $500 for 1-2 anglers. Location to be determined week of. Participants need to have their own waders and boots. Gear can be provided but it is suggested to bring your own… after all, might as well start getting comfortable with what you already have.

  • Carp

    Catching Carp on a fly rod is a religious experience. Once you “get it” you don’t want to do much of anything else. They’re smart, spooky, and most of the time super challenging!

    This is a full day program focused on understanding the species, our waters, presentation, tactics and a whole lot more. There will be plenty of opportunities to get cracks at some fish.

    Fee is $400 for 1-2 anglers. Location to be determined week of. Participants need to have their own waders and boots. Gear can be provided but it is suggested to bring your own… after all, might as well start getting comfortable with what you already have.

  • Smallmouth

    Smallmouth Bass are the gateway to alternative species on the fly. Highly abundant in our home waters, Smallmouth are quite possibly one of the most fun fish to catch on the fly rod.

    This is a full day program focused on understanding the species, our waters, presentation, tactics and a whole lot more. There will be plenty of opportunities to get cracks at some fish.

  • Trout

    Going vintage with some trout action!! We will provide you with the knowledge and tactics to increase your confidence on the small, technical waters of the famous Driftless region.

    This is a full day program, focused on understanding the species, the waters, presentation, tactics and a whole lot more. Trout are usually quite cooperative so we should catch some fish!!
