Smallmouth Bass School

Smallmouth Bass are the gateway to alternative species on the fly. Highly abundant in our home waters, Smallmouth are quite possibly one of the most fun fish to catch on the fly rod. During this on-water school, we will provide you with the knowledge and tactics to increase your success when pursuing this local talent. In order to provide the best experience possible, and to make sure the education is felt, we are going to limit our class size to provide the best learning environment.

This is a full day program focused on understanding the species, our waters, presentation, tactics and a whole lot more. There will be plenty of opportunities to get cracks at some fish.

School Fee is $200. Location to be determined. Participants need to have their own waders and boots. Gear can be provided but it is suggested to bring your own… after all, might as well start getting comfortable with what you already have.

Illinois fishing license needed. All other suggestions on what to bring will be made available.
