Carp School

Catching Carp on a fly rod is a religious experience. Once you “get it” you don’t want to do much of anything else. They’re smart, spooky, and most of the time super challenging! During this on-water school, we will provide you with the knowledge and tactics to increase your success when pursuing this very misunderstood gamefish. In order to provide the best experience possible, and to make sure the education is felt, we are going to limit our class size to provide the best learning environment.

This is a full day program focused on understanding the species, our waters, presentation, tactics and a whole lot more. There will be plenty of opportunities to get cracks at some fish.

School Fee is $200. Location to be determined. Participants need to have their own waders and boots. Gear can be provided but it is suggested to bring your own… after all, might as well start getting comfortable with what you already have.

Illinois fishing license needed. All other suggestions on what to bring will be made available.
